With all the divisions and difference of opinion on so many political and social issues today, I feel we have forgotten how to see THE BIG PICTURE.  Simon Sinek, a British/American Author and Motivational Speaker, says “THE BIG PICTURE doesn’t just come from distance; it also comes from time.”

In other words, our longer life in years and experiences, should prepare us to base our judgment on any particular situation—be it political, social media, or even televised news reporting—with mature rational thinking when we react to a comment on Facebook, a tweet on Twitter (also called X), or a post on somebody’s Blog.   

So, before you react with hateful words or even aggressive actions, consider these words of Miley Cyrus, an American Singer/Songwriter, Actress and Pop Star:  “It is important to ask yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing and what purpose it serves in THE BIG PICTURE.”
