How to Make Your Message Successful

Messages today are not always from reliable sources. And for all of us it’s hard to tell what is truth from what is false. If you have done your due diligence (checked out your sources) and you are trying to persuade your readers to come to your point of view, why not present it with calmness and the appeal of “honey”? Maybe you’ve heard the old saying, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.”

As everyone seems so caught up with responding to current events without taking time to reflect, we find ourselves spewing instantaneous hate which leaves no room for discussion or compromise. My definition of “honey” is Mary Poppins’ spoonful of sugar that is added to a rational thinking process. The message still gets the medicine into the body but makes it easier to digest!

I’m not asking you to deny what you believe but to present it in a different way. The whole world might just benefit from what you have to say.
