For the third week of our blog series on Finding Peace As You Pray The Lord’s Prayer, I’m posting this prayer, which is also called “The Our Father,” as it is translated in Spanish. It is found in The Holy Bible in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 6, Verses 9-13.
You are not alone if you are experiencing anxiety, fear, or depression. Or if you feel your life has been turned upside down. Many are feeling this way as we find society and the world around us in a state of disarray.
If you choose to pray the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples, take time as you say each phrase to reflect. It is my hope and prayer for you that God will give you a peaceful heart.
Pray it today as it is translated en español—RVR1960 (La Santa Biblia Reina Valera Revision) or choose another language from among hundreds by going to www.Bible.com
Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos,
santificado sea tu nombre.
Venga tu reino.
Hágase tu voluntad,
como en el cielo, así también en la tierra.
El pan nuestro de cada día, dánoslo hoy.
Y perdónanos nuestras deudas,
como también nosotros perdonamos a nuestros deudores.
Y no nos metas en tentación,
mas líbranos del mal;
porque tuyo es el reino,
y el poder,
y la gloria,
por todos los siglos.
Amén.
